Story.

Once upon a time in Mumbai… the story behind Indian restaurant Dostana.. A warm welcome awaits you at Dostana. You will experience the finest food cooked by their very highly skilled Chefs from India and Bangladesh. They perfectly combine the traditions and authentic flavours of India, fused exotically with a unique ethnic edge. Dostana has successfully put a creative spin on their carefully crafted menu, which means not only serving up traditional curry main dishes, but also Indian street food alternatives, aiming to replicate the fantastic hustle and bustle of India’s street food markets. All provided with a first class service and exquisite décor. On entering you won’t be disappointed. You are made to feel welcome in the reception area from where you can order a variety of drinks from the fully licensed bar. A fine selection of Indian beers and wines are offered.

Take away better than food at hotel Take away better than food at crown plaza.. Staying here we ordered food to collect, it was ready in the time stated they gave plastic cutlery as well plus served take away beer. Food was good too so great choice..

Breakfast Lovely Sunday morning breakfast at Dostana freshly cooked as you order. Cool atmosphere lovely attentive service without being in your face. Free refills on tea and coffee a joy.

Well deserved praise A return visit after a long absence and delighted to report that the restaurant has re-established it’s former glory. Food, service, surroundings and ambiance all excellent. Staff are enthusiastic and welcoming. Will definitely be returning soon.

The Best Indian Breakfast This was our first Indian breakfast at Dostana. Everything was cooked fresh. The thing that impresses us about Dostana is not just the quality food but how lovely the staff are. We felt welcomed and valued as customers. Well worth a visit. Also, unlimited tea/coffee with breakfasts.

My new favourite restaurant. Here for the first time this evening. The menu was extensive and varied. The food was the best Indian food that I have had for years. The place itself is comfy and cosy, with good lighting and music that's not too loud. The staff are so friendly. I will now become a regular.

Birthday meal Wow what can I say....one of the best Indian meals we have had outside India... super friendly staff....there for sons 10th birthday they made him feel super special. 110% recommend this resturant.
